Spark2Life Prevention services

schools and pupil referral units

Since 2019, Spark2Life has worked with mainstream schools and Pupil Referral Units in London, Essex, Kent, and Buckinghamshire to deliver prevention programmes for children and young people (11-17 years) who are at risk of exclusion or have experience of involvement in the criminal justice system. We deliver mentoring programmes, workshops and assembly sessions.

individual and group mentoring

Our one-to-one and group mentoring programmes aim to inspire young people in education to make positive choices for their futures by helping them develop skills in five core areas: self-awareness; emotional literacy; relationship and communication skills; responsible decision-making; emotional resilience.

In primary schools we also deliver our Transition Project. This helps pupils to build trusting relationships and aspirations, increase both self-confidence and self-awareness, while developing resilience as they transition to secondary school.

"The Spark2Life workers have been phenomenal, passionate, engaging and very genuine - clearly having the interests of our young people at the centre of what they do.”
- Emily Sayer, Head of Personal Development, Holy Family Catholic School

assemblies and workshops

Spark2Life delivers assembly and workshop sessions to pupils on the following topics:

  • Exploitation and Youth Violence: raising awareness on the dangers of drugs, how gangs operate and the risk to serious youth violence.
  • Consequences: encouraging self-awareness, thinking through responses and raising awareness of consequences.
"The presentation from Spark2Life was amazing, giving the young group of girls a more in depth/ real perspective on what could happen when taking the wrong path or making an uninformed decision."
- Helen O’Dwyer, Child in Care Lead, Ursuline College
"Spark2Life was AMAZING from start to finish. The workshops and assembly were all interactive, inclusive and Spark2Life totally captivated their audience of 200 14 year olds hanging on their every word! Would highly, highly, recommend!"
- Ashley Amrina Mahmood, Royal Harbour Academy
