  2. One thing they will try out/do during the week
  3. One thing they heard that they will apply for the week

Students record their personal challenges and review them at the beginning of each session.

    Help students to understand that we can find a whole host of reasons/excuses to justify not doing what we know we should do; we make excuses for not achieving goals and not making progress. If we are going to grow and develop and achieve our goals, we have to do the very things that are hard/challenging without making excuses.

    Engaging with others appropriately; building positive relationships

    Given that respect is so important to us, we should know what it is, what it looks like and how we can be intentional about showing it to others.

    This session will challenge the values students have with regards to how they decide who they will show respect.

    Empower students to make informed decisions about their conduct and the words they use; to enable them to respond rather than react under pressure.

    Help students to understand that being understanding and empathetic to others is necessary for people to co-exist peacefully.

    Inspire thought and conversation around what it is to be a man. Get students to think about the kind of man they want to develop into. Give male students the opportunity to speak freely and share their thoughts and ideas about manhood/masculinity in a non-judgemental space.

    To demonstrate the importance of the congruence between our words, actions and attitudes, especially when it comes to showing love and respect. Help students to understand that their actions ought to match their intentions.
