Challenge mindsets
Loosely translated 'Alter Locus' means 'second chance' in Latin and that is what the project aims to create for students in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) across London.
The Alter Locus project works with 11-16 year old students who attend PRUs. Using a trauma-informed approach Spark2Life seek to reach, relate and equip students to better navigate life’s challenges specifically helping them build resilience and a better support network inside and outside of school.
Through the Alter Locus project Spark2Life deliver 1:1 mentoring sessions, group mentoring sessions and family mentoring work to selected families.
